About Bruce Gray
After working as a logo designer for an advertising agency in Boston, Bruce Gray got the itch to control his artistic destiny. So he moved to Los Angeles, bought a welder, taught himself to use it, and the rest is history.
Bruce specializes in sculptures and functional art made of welded steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, and aluminum. His style varies, from geometric sculptures to rusty assemblages to colorfully painted wall sculptures.
âSculpture us not my career,â Bruce says. âIt is my life.â As a self-proclaimed "visual scientist," he takes seriously the creative and experimental process of developing a sculpture from an idea into a reality.
